- Scan Compliance Verification: Audit sort belt scan rates in real time, identifying packages that bypassed the scan tunnel without a valid read and manually scanning them into the system to maintain chain-of-custody accuracy.
- Load Quality Inspection: Walk loaded package cars before departure to verify that load quality meets UPS standards — no overhanging packages, heavy items on shelves not floors, fragile items in protected positions — documenting violations and coaching loaders immediately.
